It's cold and snowy in Columbus, Ohio today and I'm daydreaming about warm, glowing colors-- the kind that are found on soft summer evenings.
I created this piece with summer nights on my mind. That magical time of day when the sun sets just below the horizon, before the shadows begin to creep about.
The day that I finished it, my mom shared a photo of the sunset she was watching while at a local high school football game.
And that's how the title was born....
